Clip1:
Following a pterional craniotomy, and the splitting of sylvian fissure the carotid bifurcation and the M1 are exposed.
A temporary clip is applied at the distal M1.
Clip2:
Further arachnoid dissection exposes the neck of the aneurysm; the neck is clipped and the temporary clip is removed
Clip3:
The dome of the giant aneurysm is opened, the thrombus is evacuated and aneurysectomy is carried out.
